At the best of times funky, gunky, illness is an absolute pain in the posterior (literally, of course, for the awkwardky-seated piles sufferer)…
But when you’re a mostly-solo entrepreneur it’s a BIG pain. And also a huge wake-up call too:
That’s because it forces you to understand the value of the SYSTEMS you have (or have not) put in place…
You see, it’s not “us” that make or grow our businesses (however big or small) as much as it is the “mechanisms” we put in place to keep the wheels rolling *regardless of our individual input*.
And if you’re as resistant to “letting go” of the ins and outs of your business as I am, then it’s these sudden lightning strikes from Dr. Eve-ill that forcibly brings the importance of these systems into focus.
Once again – after 3-days of rock hard flu – I realise just how completely cuckoo it is (and costly) to be lacking certain systems,
and also in not having some of them outsourced.
So, how about you?…
What areas of your business activities are vulnerable when the next bout of gungey-stuff forces you to sip Lucozade from your bed?
What systems could you improve or create to remove the pressure and take the “u” out of business?
It’s worth a quick think aboot for sure.
I’ll be back tomorrow with some actual examples I’ve overlooked, PLUS a brand new little video-related product offered at a ker-azy price.
Have a great day!
