About 25 years later than expected (well, 6 days actually – not bad for me!) here’s the make-no-bones-about-it-110%-free-or-almost-free affiliate resources post. Actually, I’m going to split it up. There’s absolutely no benefit in overloading you in one go (no splattering yer greedy slobber over this site thank you very much!).
I should state up front that these resources are not just restricted to affiliate marketing – whatever might be said on the tin. The core skills involved are FUNDAMENTAL to most forms of business – both online and offline…
And besides, if you’re selling a product or service and are smart, then you need to know about affiliate marketing in order to pass that on to your affiliates (I know I need to!).
Also important: it’s actually a crying shame that some of these resources are free – because it will lessen the value that most people place on them. I hope that doesn’t include you – so please do yourself a favour and at least PRETEND you paid for them. Deal? Good.

That little beaut has been around for over 150 years (measured in Internet-lives) and still stands as one of the best freebies going…*IF* you take note and take action on the ’secrets’ it spills. (It’s also related to one of THE longest and most successful affiliate programs on the planet).
There isn’t just a gap between selling and pre-selling: there’s a frickin CHASM. Using that free resource can help plug it up and reap financial rewards of doing so.
“To Skim, or Not To Skim? That Is The Question”…
The answer for this one is definitely “skim it like a zero-fat milk!”
It’s pretty looong – but the golden bits in there are really, really shiny; and timeless too.
Sections I recommend you read:
- 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, the whole of section 3 (apart from 3.6 – boring and over-rated grammar and seplling section)
Basically, all the bits about pre-selling. Within 30-minutes you should be on the way to becoming a preselling impresario - or at least head and shoulders above most other people out there.
Oh yes – and also take note of how effectively they themselves presell the virtues of their own website hosting solution!
